...nachdem die guenstigste art des ruecktransportes der yamaha nach wien von delhi aus angeboten wurde, und ich keine lust mehr hatte, die strecke zurueck in die hauptstadt indiens per bike zurueckzulegen, fasste ich den beschluss die fahrt mit der eisenbahn zu unternehmen.
das verfrachten eines bikes per bahn ist zwar etwas umstaendlich -einen tag vor der abreise muss das bike am bahnhof verpackt werden
- ziemlich unsicher, ob trotz schutzverpackung das bike den zielbahnhof errreicht -spaeter stellte sich heraus,dass ein rahmenteil gebrochen war- aber dafuer sehr billig.
fuer die 2200km von madgoan nach delhi wurden incl.versicherung (nur verlust) gerade mal 20 euro berechnet.
die letzten kilometer auf indischem boden, vom bahnhof zur shipping company konnte ich dann erst am naechsten tag nach ankunft antreten.
natuerlich hatte mein zug die uebliche verspaetung und die allgegenwaertige indische buerokratie verhinderte die ausgabe von befoerdertem gut nach 17:00 (auf den vorschlag mir ein special permit beim bahnhofsvorstand zu holen habe ich dankend verzichtet-haette wahrscheinlich die nacht am bahnhof verbracht ;-)
nach klaerung der vorgangsweise und der kosten wurde meine xt dann seetauglich verpackt und in eine holzkiste verpackt...
nach 17.000 (5.000km in indien),fast problemlos zurueckgelegten km bleibt mir nun nur zu hoffen, dass mein bike auch den rueckweg ueber see schadlos uebersteht.
